About geordiejacobite

Editor for The Jacobite Magazine. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, I first became fascinated by Jacobite history when reading "The Beano", in the 1950's, which featured a story board, "Red Rory and his Golden Eagles" and that fascination continues to this day. My main interest is book collecting (first editions if possible) but I am currently on the look-out for an authentic Basket Hilted Broadsword of the period. The music of the period I find enthralling and my C.D. collection is regularly listened too. I do not consider myself an academic, just passionate about the Jacobite period and all the injustices carried out by the Hanoverian Government of the time. Being elected to the post of Editor of "The Jacobite," was and is an honour and I hope to continue in post for as long as the membership wish me too.
